Dr. Alam has served on the Ohio University faculty since 1983. He has produced more than 70 research publications and 2 patents. Dr. Alam's major research interests include material processing, CVD, ceramics ,thin films, composites, heat and mass transfer, powder synthesis, solidification, aerosols, combustion, and air pollution.
