Prospective Students

Graduate Students Welcome!

Graduate students are encouraged to obtain a Doctor of Philosophy degree or a Masters degree through research work at the Nanoscale and Quantum Phenomena Institute.  Both experimental and theoretical studies are in progress.  Interested candidates should contact a home department of their choice (refer to Affiliated Programs: Environmental and Plant Biology, Chemistry and Biochemistry, Mathematics, Philosophy, Physics and Astronomy, Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering, Mechanical Engineering), and apply to that department's graduate program.  Various Research Assistantships are available.

Undergraduate Students Welcome!

Opportunities to significantly contribute to frontier work in nanoscience abound for undergraduate students at the Nanoscale and Quantum Phenomena Institute.  If you are looking for a meaningful holiday break job, or for a challenging learning experience for your senior thesis, welcome!  We encourage you to contact the research group corresponding to your interest (see Affiliated Programs or Faculty).
